How to Trade Other Popular Cryptocurrencies with KuCoin and Earn Rewards!

KuCoin is a great alternative to the bigger exchanges as it invites high volatile coins not available to all other exchanges. So many highly anticipated coins and projects with much hype found a new home, ready to make traders chunks of money. And we are not only talking about their own coin $KCS, but about many more. Here would be our selection of the hottest assets KuCoin offers: QUANTSTAMP $QSP UTRUST ($UTK) DRAGONCHAIN ($DRGN) PO.ET ($POE) RED PULSE ($RPX) SUBSTRATUM ($SUB) RAIBLOCKS ($XRB) QLINK ($QLC) SNOVIO ($SNOV) of course their own Kucoin shares ($KCS) and many usual suspects like $ETH, $NEO, $GAS and other popular coins These are the coins, many investors are talking about, having a great future and the potential to rise 5x – 10x. So if you like volatility, Kucoin is a great place to make some money. Their selection is simply top notch, filtering the coins you have to buy and hold. But not only that: imagine you sign up and buy some $KCS shares and participate in the insane growth of this exchange! That being said, they often offer trading competitions. Right now you can win a Porsche by trading $RPX. Kucoin’s very own token distributes dividends based on the exchange’s volume, with half of all fees being split among the circulating KCS. Holding KCS gives daily dividends to the tune of 0.1%, as you can see from this website. Combine holding KCS with inviting new users via their referral program, and suddenly the passive crypto income from this exchange can become substantial. Like BNB, KCS trading also reduces your trading fee. Buy KCS if you want to hold for a year or more and collect passive income from its dividends. Not even factoring in growth in exchange volumes, and increase in price of the tokens, you’re looking at a minimum 5% return. Lets Get Started.

Step 1. Sign up for KuCoin here

Step 2. Simply complete the sign up process and make sure to Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Like other exchanges, it is highly recommended that you enable 2-factor authentication, which will add an extra security level to your account. Go to the Settings tab (on the right side) and find the tab titled Google 2-Step. If you are new to 2FA then you will need to download the Google Authenticator app which is available on your mobile device’s App store or Google Play. Add a new secret, scan the QR code (don’t forget to write your backup secret key on a piece of paper!) and from there you will see the 1-minute changing code, that needs to be inserted every time you log-in from now. When you complete these first 3 steps you are done with the basic account setup.

Step 3. Deposit your funds

4. Start trading. • Trading Graph This graph shows you the recent price history for a given period. In the top left, you can adjust the period that each candlestick represents, and also add technical indicators. Here’s a good tutorial on how to read candlestick charts for those who have no idea what’s going on. • Order Book + Recent Order Fills This shows open orders on the left, and recent fills on the right. In the middle, you see the current price! • Your Orders You can use this area to see your order history, open orders, and trade history. This is also where you can cancel Open Orders that haven’t filled yet. • Place Orders This section is where the meat of your trading is done. As you can see mine is blocked until a 2FA key is entered. KuCoin only has limit orders, so I’ll detail how to use them for this guide Please note: KuCoin lets you set the desired price, and the amount that you’d like to buy. You can click the link next to “Best price” to auto fill the next available price to buy at, or you can set a different price to try to get a better rate. Be careful with setting your own price if you don’t know what you’re doing though, as you could accidentally end up paying more than the current market price! If you still have questions on order types please refer to the education page.
